Fueling Failure

The atmosphere is increasingly
thick with recriminations,
and with anger, frustrations,
and despair at your refusal
to recognise time's up,
because the love affair with
mining and fracking
coal and gas
must end
if
we're all to have a future


Consider it the divorce
we had to have,
or would you rather
a warrant be issued
for crimes against humanity
and the planet
