Has the drive to a new world economy
Made natural history obsolete?
Wonder if the dinosaurs
Knew about evolution
Or the final solution?
Did they look down on the others like we do
And say oh such a shame you´ll have to go
but that´s progress!
Extinct or alive?
Insecticides may protect our crops
But they are so many billions
And they´ll survive no matter what
Extinct or alive?
We can wipe out millions of bacteria
But mutations make sure that theyll still be there
When we´re dead and gone
Dead and gone
Far far away...
And if compassion dies
and evolution thrives on change-
Isnt it time we changed?
