Reykjavik Art Museum 2019 progression photos ice glaciers 1999, and now. Azure blue ice chunks, once massive, now diminished, gone! I stare at the photos in horror. glaciers melting into the sea. “Take action!” Politicians use climate change as a platform, a line in the parched sand, deny. deny. deny. But how can you deny evidence? shrunken vanished forever! “Every glacier lost reflects our inaction.” How did I not know glaciers were fading away like evening shadows? (Sneaking away so slowly that you might not notice) Soon it will be dark. Why are we not screaming? Young, serious teenager sails across turbulent deep oceans to share climate facts, science that our leaders ignore, to be mocked ridiculed belittled! “The eyes of all future generations are upon you!” I often wonder why the demise of earth, our only planet, which graciously hosts us, is up for debate as we watch it fall break crumble burn “Giving up can never be an option!”
